St. Cloud,Minn- The Duluth Huskies used a solid pitching performance by Dylan Thomas (St. Thomas), and the batting of Luke Campbell (New Mexico) and Conner Joe (San Diego) to beat the St. Cloud Rox by a score of 6-5 Sunday night.
The Huskies lost the first game of their Saturday double header against The St. Cloud Rox by a score of 4-3. Max MacNabb (San Diego) was the pitcher of record, he pitched seven innings allowing nine hits and four earned runs. Offensive contributions came from Max Duval (Hawaii) who went 1-2 with a home run and two RBIs and Luke Campbell (New Mexico) who went 2-3 with an RBI.
Duluth- The Rochester Honkers used a hot start to secure a 6-4 victory Thursday night at Wade Stadium. The Honkers began with a three run top of the first inning, which Duluth battled back to score two in the bottom of the second. The Honkers then scored three more in the top half of the third, and Duluth couldn't quite comeback, scoring one run in both the fifth and sixth innings. 
Joey Novak (Harvard) was the star of the game Friday night. Novak entered the game tied for the league lead in wins with 5 and he didn't show any signs of letting up. He pitched seven shutout innings allowing only two hits and one walk. Offensive contributions came from Michael Suiter (Kansas) who had an RBI and Connor Joe (San Diego) who went 3-4 with an RBI. James Ramsay (South Florida) and Brian Hansen (St. Cloud State) had two and three hits respectively. Dylan Vogt (Nebraska) pitched one inning, allowing no runs and earning his third save of the season.
After winning three in a row from St. Cloud, the Huskies dropped a close one to the Rox of St. Cloud. St. Cloud started out the scoring early by scoring a run in the bottom of the first. The Huskies answered right back by scoring a run on a wild pitch. Wednesday's game proved to be a lack of offense by the Huskies only scoring two runs, only one of them being earned. Manny Acosta (Cal State LA) was the stand out offensive player for the Huskies going 2-3 with an RBI. Joey Webb (Menlo College) was the pitcher of record, he pitched six and two thirds innings giving up three earned runs with three K's and two walks. The Huskies will return to The Wade tonight to face the Rochester Honkers.
