Bobby McCarthy owner/president For 28 years, Bobby has owned and operated the landmark restaurant “Bobby’s” in Vero Beach, Florida. In his sixth year operating the Duluth Huskies, Bobby relocates to Duluth each summer and has become a local sports icon renewing the community’s interest and support in baseball with his hands on approach and his dedication to the community. Bobby is married to wife Barbara with daughters Jennifer and Mallory. Craig Smith General manager Smith enters his sixth season with the Huskies organization in 2008. A native Duluthian, Craig has a sports administration background in both the public and private sectors. Formerly a Recreation Specialist with the City of Duluth and worked primarily with the City’s athletic programs and facilities, including the management of Wade Stadium during the Northern League’s occupation. Craig is married to wife Michelle, and has one son, Matt. Aaron Benson Assistant General Manager Aaron enters his sixth year with the Huskies in his role directing corporate sales and stadium operations. A 2006 graduate of the University of Minnesota Morris in Athletic Training, he has returned to his hometown Duluth to pursue a career in baseball. Aaron began working at Wade Stadium in 1998 with the Duluth-Superior Dukes of the Northern League in the concessions stand. Aaron enjoys other sports such as golf, hockey, and basketball as well as playing with his German Shepherd, Cheyenne.
